Again watch the incident again. Fielden's head is turned as he is looking for Keith Mason (who is being pulled away by Tomkins and Lockers with a big grin on his face). His attention wasn't on Griffin who did connect. Then a scuffle broke out between the pair of them, but the camera moves away to Keith Mason so we can't see what happened.
Who do you think scratched Stuart Fielden's face?

Not quite. Mason doesn't go looking for anymore trouble. He's happy to walk away. Tomkins/Lockers let go soon enough because Fielden is scrapping with Griffin at this point. Mason then lingers in the background.

Watched the incident and the game numerous times (i got no life), hes been pulled away and these things die down pretty quickly as players get dragged away and common sense prevails, why would he rush back in again ? |
