I'm not so sure about that. Madge went home Monday afternoon so he won't have seen the players train all this week. I imagine there's been a dialogue between the two of them over the past week and they'll have made the decision between them based on what Wane has been telling Maguire

I was wondering who that was to. I've never seen him before.

| Was it not the 20's coach? Could be a possibility. Wane said on his interview on the site that Maguire had been in contact with him and left him with some "guidelines" to follow. However he said the team selection was down to him on the night. He's going to be a very, very, very good coach for us and he is learning from one of the best in my opinion.

| Quote: AJ "I agree we were outstanding, but Hull were poor. Even when they had chances, they simpily had no idea what to do on at least 3 occasions simpily backing up the man would have lead to tries for them.'"
I must admit I thought that at the time, but having watched the TV coverage today, I tend to agree with McCrae that we made them look worse than they really were.

Was it not Mark Bitcon the conditioning coach? I assumed it was him

| After learning under MM, Wigan's next coaching team SW and Rads, and hopefully some silverware for MM before he finishes, is he on a 3yr contract.

I'll never cease to be staggered by Stevo's ability to talk his way up his own

| I know we all expect MM to go home at some stage... But IMO he is obviously loving it at Wigan and with some players coming from Melborne to further help him settle. MM is only young and may desire cementing his place in Wigan history (ala Lowe and Monie) by staying longer than 3 years.. Who knows?..
Wane and Maguire are the "Wigan Dream Team".... New flag idea??

Wouldn't need to stay much longer than 3 though would he?
Graham Lowe 2 years 10 months?
John Monie 3 years 8 months?
But I get what you mean, I hope he does stay, but I'm certain sooner or later the NRL job of his choice will come calling at a time he feels he's ready for it.

Looking at them stats, then No!!
I think if we win the league and the GF then I think he will anyway... He has made the biggest difference I have ever seen by a coach with what is the same squad..(I was just a bit too young for the Lowe Era)

The first season under Lowe was even more pronounced, but you're quite right - the change he's made to essentially the same team that finished 6th over 27 rounds last year is remarkable.
Just hope he gets recognised at the end of the season.
