Jeez m8, you are running a risk here.
A lot on here will respond to this as if you had run over their pet rabbit.
Sad but true.

No.
The Saints & Wire away games mattered more than this, because at that time we didn't have the buffer that we had today. The game was much more important for Wire than for us, in terms of league position.

Derby at KR means diddly squat, the away game was too early to matter.
You only had to look at the players to see how much this game mattered. Win it and we were assured 1st place (virtually).
We need some steel.

| We're getting to the business end of the season where results are starting to matter. I'm just being honest and a realist. I want to be proven wrong, but i believe our inexperience is beginning to show. Enthusiasm and youth only gets you so far...

| So your telling me the game tonight meant more to the players that Good Friday ?..
Ask any one of them players which game they would prefer to win before start of year but knowing the situations that each club are in at that point of the year and i'd put my life on them all saying Saints Good Friday.
I'd also hedge a bet 99% of wigan fans would choose it too.

| Fielden had a good game for about 20 mins of the first half. He was owned after that and made a couple of errors. Warringtons pack really got on top of ours and i think we Missed Coley a lot tonight. Looked much more dangerous with Riddell on the pitch too...

| Fielden was pants in my eyes. Hardly made any yards after collision never made any big hits.
Tonight was a night Fielden had the chance to stand up a show he still has the quality he did a few years back and he failed miserably. He also got given the captaincy. He sh@t out big time imo and i've been one of his biggest fans this year against the likes of Morley Graham and Peacock he starts getting to involved in a battle to prove hes as good which he isnt he always comes of second best. I would love to see us get rid of him and feka next year and replace them with 2 of White Bailey or Lima.

Jesus christ. ANY player that took that shoulder from Harrison to the face would have been shaky for the rest of the game. It was a fecking brutal (but fair) hit.

| Their pack steam rolled ours in the end. But with 3 of our recognised props not playing (although I think we would have performed worse had feka played) that's not surprising. Wire have a big pack and we had to play with only two recognised props, the result was hardly surprising; in fact in the end that the only won by one try looks good for us.

Certainly was!
I think the problem is that none of our forwards were able to repay the compliment.
I'm none too fussed about this result. Losing to the Skints felt far worse.
But, this game [idid [/ishow us as still being a bit light in the grunt dept.
Wires forwards owned our pack. End of. (maybe Joel excepted)
Not nice to say, but definitely something that needs sorting before the silverware gets handed out.

Agreed there was a fairly massive difference in size across the pack.
