Does IL need a backbone to stand up to DW and tell him where to go and say we have had a game on that friday for 9 months, this just makes the divide between the fans/clubs wider.

As much as it's another slap in the face in terms of us having to move the game i'm in Cornwall until the Sunday and thought I may have to miss the game. I can now try and get an early dart back and hopefully make the game if we leave early...........this time only it'll do for me!

Rubbish, bloody rubbish. I'd be able to take some consolation if I really thought this latest incident of rolling over for that lot would mean a smooth ride for our play off fixtures, but let's face it that's not going to happen. There's absolutely no reaason why this game couldn't have been played on the Sunday given the original fixture was supposed to be in Blackpool which in itself was a farce given that Blackpool had already asked for their first few games to be away from home.

We defo need a stadium of our own. I know with Latics we are just waiting for the bubble to burst but even if they were in the Conference they would still be playing on the same pitch as us. We should have a Holy pitch, touched by no one apart from RL players.

At least it proves we can have a home game on a Sunday after them s have a game on a Saturday. That means we shouldnt have any problems for the playoffs i guess? The Premier league have gone on record thanking us for our help so they owe us a favour

I cant see what the fuss is about. The football absolutely had to be played at 3pm on Saturday so that those millions of Blackpool and Wigan fans in such far flung places as Tibet and Easter Island could watch it on TV - it wasnt chosen for UK broadcasting because, frankly, nobody would be interested. Usually, a club's first ever game in the premiership would be a nailed on Sky fixture, but their avoidance of this one speaks volumes about what they and, presumably, their viewers, think of the opposition!

Also sky havent announced their Superleague games for that week yet, so it was possible that they would have moved it. It would be great now if sky did cover it, so the club got a few extra quid because of the Premier League's ineptitude in giving Blackpool a home game when the specifically asked for an away one!

Not when there are fixtures such as Liverpool v Arsenal, Spurs v Man City and Man Utd v Newcastle it isn't.

Not much novelty value in those ones though, apart from Newcastle as they are also a promoted club. Spurs v Man City was also one of the last televised games in May.

What has when it was last televised gotta do with the price of fish? The fact is there are bigger games which is why it isn't on tv. Burnley weren't on tv last season on the opening day either.
