| Quote: Rogues Gallery "My thoughts on Pryce
He was no worse than many, Phelps had a nightmare. Roberts missed the tackle to let Hodgson in, then he beat Phelps easily.
Three Wigan players were hold of Lunt on the try line and let him get the ball down.
The fact that Huddersfield right wing (on the other side of where Pryce was defending) scored three tries may give you a clue to where some of the problems lay.'"
Carmont & Richards were targetted with short kicks behind them today 5 or 6 times and were truly awful dealing with them!
That again won't fit in with the "Popular" view but that's How I saw it.
PS
For the last 3 or 4 games prior to today Carmont and Richards have been targetted with grubber behind them and they are struggling to deal with them.

| I reckon Sam is worth 12 points ( attack combined with defence) to Wigan every game he plays. I didn't think we could win without him but it was worse than I feared.

| We were playing musical chairs everytime Michael McIlorum went off. We lacked organisation and structure.
We missed Sam Tomkins far more than Mark Riddell. The only thing we missed IMO from Riddell is just the organisation I.E not playing musical chairs after every sub.
We can't deal with kicks on the last tackle. A massive problem.
Our forwards were battered (shocker)
I thought Mike McIlorum was our MOTM.
Pat Richards kicks were shocking. 2 out on the full in succession.
Huddersfield were brilliant. A much better coached side than us.
We'll beat Castleford most likely next week but I can't see us getting further than that. We have finished 6th. Backwards from last year. Lost Gareth Hock and failed to strengthen in the forwards.
A new coach can only do so much. We need a couple of forwards for next season. If we don't get them we will do nothing next season.

The new coach could get alot more out of Feka and Fielden than Noble does and then we could be ok!

Phil Clark picked up on this in his pre game Vs Cas, we have conceded more tries to kicks than any other team this season,
Also Richards has been poor the past few weeks in defence,

| We were doing ok then we made these subs:
Fielden on for Coley
Pryce on for McIllorum
Mossop on for Flanagan
all in quick succession, leaving this:
FB 21 Phelps
RW 2 Roberts
RC 20 Pryce
LC 4 Carmont
LW 5 Richards
SO 13 O'Loughlin
SH 22 Gleeson
P 8 Fielden
H 7 Leuluai
P 10 Paleaaesina
SR 16 Hansen
SR 24 Mossop
LF 14 Joel
That was where I knew we were going to go right downhill, we lose what little ideas we had in attack, giving them lots of possession to pile pressure on us. Presumably Sam Tomkins and Riddell will be back next week so we shouldn't be too bad.

I still fancy us to beat Castleford at home with Sam Tomkins and Mark Riddell back. Castleford only just beat Celtic Crusaders.
But then again if we show up like that we will get beat.
Put it this way. We will not get to the Grand Final.

| Nothing to do with subs for me today - the simple fact some of our one-on-one tackling was powder puff was the problem. Felt like the team wanted to play Cas rather than Cats and decided there was little reason to put 100% in today.
Unfortunately we're nowhere near good enough to be able to turn it on and off when we want and next week looks like a banana skin waiting to happen.

Aye I agree that the tackling was terrible and they didn't look that bothered, but I thought having a poor attack due to aforementioned subs gave them the ball on our line too much, putting pressure on us and knackering us out.

| I was there today and we played well, but your team was a discrace to the people who paid to watch that dross.
Dropped ball on hlaf way line - Try's resulted
Kicking out on the full twice on the trot resulting in 2 trys
Fumbled ball near the line - Try
Interception try
Shocking defence for Lunts and Hodgsons try
Talk about making it easy for us, totally unprofessinal performance, but don't say we were brilliant, you made us look it.

We'd play Hull KR if your week 1 was correct Grimmy.
Leave Stains for the Grand Final.
