I think it was a success. Was funny seeing my 17 year old son groan at the girl group on before kick off but at least they are trying to make the game more than your average game.

I'd also hope the Huddersfield fans were pleased to think they now have a team worthy of "Big One" status. I don't mean that in any sort of condescending manner. The fact relatively few turned up for the game is not a problem for me for two reasons. One our fans got with the Big One idea and came to watch a 2nd v 3rd clash, and two I hope it will encourage more Hudds fans to come next time which I think it will.

Define a few? The number of Hudds fans in the North Stand was a few compared to other certain teams I am not sure what you are driving at.

I wouldnt say over a 1000 is a few, we're never gonna travel in the numbers Saints and Wire do to you but i'd say it wasnt a bad effort against similar clubs over here.

I thought the effort from the Huddersfield fans yesterday was poor. OK you can't knock the loyal supporters who turn up week in week out, but for a game that was 2nd v 3rd, had discounted tickets and was at one of the best grounds in the league, it was a poor away following.

No more than 1000 Hudds fans in the away end, but with more than 18000 home fans there, its been a great success and hopefully attendances for this fixture will continue to be big in the future

Generally yep though they've not been over this year yet.

If you're talking about Huddersfield, we've never filled the away end. The only Wigan team to fill it was the Latics believe it or not.

Aye. I was there the day Latics sealed the 2nd division title and promotion to the championship.

I can't remember the last time I missed a league game against Huddersfield for the rugby and the closest we cam was a couple of years back when they had to start moving the netting on the left hand side of the stand to fit everyone in. It was probably about 80-85% full in the end.

I've been to every game for the last god knows how many years and there's been loads of space on the edges. What's so difficult to understand?
