I remember a similar thread to this being started on the old version of this forum (Peapoi might recall?).
Probably back-end of the 90's / very early 00's - Stating that the Whino's games had become more important than the Saints Derby.
Like Wire this year, Leeds games did mean far more in terms of league position back then.
But 'bigger' than THE Derby??
