Anything under 1500 from Huddersfield tomorrow will be very poor because if you can't shift that amount at a fiver or a tenner for a 2nd vs 3rd clash then it's worrying that you never will.

That's not to have a go at the diehards like yourself or GiantDaz because you'd be there regardless but overall it's not the best.

as a giants fan i have to agree was really hoping we could get a good crowd for this game as cheap tickets was on offer and its such a big game but as per usual soon as it was announced it was a sky game most fans will have decided to place there tvs in a nice position so they can sit on there s at home

its really annoying yes we are a growing club we have alot more fans than we used to but it just annoys me how our fans think the tv is better. i wouldnt mind if it was just away games but home ones aswell alot decide the tv will be better.

leaving loyal fans to get slagged off for the support not that i take much interest what other fans say anyway. i mean we took close to 2000 to crusaders, we took close to that to leeds. alot of our away games have been on sky which hasnt helped but i wish alot would turn up for a sky game for once !!!

how can we really compare to supporters who that despite claiming to be the best in the world have to model themselves on accrington stanley football supporters


to be honest whether we bring 100 or a 1000 tomorrow we will enjoy ourselves and hopefully make plenty of noise,and thats without a couple of kids banging drums and singing rip off football chants.
looking forward to a huge clash tomorrow and i just hope wigan fans aren't too disappointed,but judging by some of the codswallop that has been posted on here i think my hope might be in vain

There's ample parking on the stadium car park, also across from the cinema (next to the Red Robin pub) I think they both charge a fiver. Failing that you could try and park on the estates surrounding the ground.

I think it was a success, 18 thousand home fans saw the team put on a first class performance on a balmy evening in June. Current Average - 17,193

I think it was a success. Was funny seeing my 17 year old son groan at the girl group on before kick off but at least they are trying to make the game more than your average game.

I'd also hope the Huddersfield fans were pleased to think they now have a team worthy of "Big One" status. I don't mean that in any sort of condescending manner. The fact relatively few turned up for the game is not a problem for me for two reasons. One our fans got with the Big One idea and came to watch a 2nd v 3rd clash, and two I hope it will encourage more Hudds fans to come next time which I think it will.

Define a few? The number of Hudds fans in the North Stand was a few compared to other certain teams I am not sure what you are driving at.

I wouldnt say over a 1000 is a few, we're never gonna travel in the numbers Saints and Wire do to you but i'd say it wasnt a bad effort against similar clubs over here.

I thought the effort from the Huddersfield fans yesterday was poor. OK you can't knock the loyal supporters who turn up week in week out, but for a game that was 2nd v 3rd, had discounted tickets and was at one of the best grounds in the league, it was a poor away following.

No more than 1000 Hudds fans in the away end, but with more than 18000 home fans there, its been a great success and hopefully attendances for this fixture will continue to be big in the future

Generally yep though they've not been over this year yet.

Everytime ive been we have filled the away end. I would say both us and wire take more than Leeds from what ive seen.

If you're talking about Huddersfield, we've never filled the away end. The only Wigan team to fill it was the Latics believe it or not.

It's not exactly far for Leeds fans to go though is it, they should be taking more. Just like we'll take a lot more to Widnes next year than they will.
