Neither club trains on it.

The pitch has been relaid since our first game and looked fine on Saturday.

This situation needs to be clarified ASAP so fans can make travel arrangements to this (Salford) game and the game on Easter Monday as well. The fact that the Salford game has been removed from the e-ticketing system would suggest that there is some truth to the rumours that are circulating.

As a Salford fan, and the original poster, I am astonished that Wigan Athletic are trying to blame the Warriors for the dreadful state of the pitch. The pitch was in that state before The Warriors had even played on it. And you guys get more people to your games than Athletic do. It should be them moving to play somwhere else.

Certainly interesting to see where the game will be played.

The silence is deafening , rumour on the Salford board that the game is going to be played at Widnes on the plastic , now that would be taking the ---- , and plenty of very unhappy season ticket holders , remind me how long have the fixtures been out ! No doubt the club don't want any bad press before the Bribane game so keeping it under wraps until next week , or if there is no problem just let everyone know the game goes ahead as planned at the DW.

I think you have hit the nail on the head RW . Sell as many tickets as you can for the Brisbane game and shaft the fans on Monday morning . I know a few fans with rail and hotel tickets (non refundable not me this time) for the Salford match that will be rendered useless should the game be moved or rescheduled.

We've had the announcement at last, it is getting beyond a joke trying to plan things for rugby games, 8 days notice !!! and they wonder why crowds are dropping
Thursday is the new Friday !!!!

I've heard that the game is now on Thursday. Just great. I fly in from Gran Canaria on Friday! Was really looking forward to it as well.

Wigan really need to come out and explain what's happening with our agreement to use the stadium here. There's seems to be more issues cropping up year on year and at a time when Latics have actually fell through a couple of divisions.

I was gutted to see Latics drop out if the Premiership and even more so the Chamoionship as I'm a supporter but I did think that if any good came from it then it would be that ground issues would be avoided more easily.
