Makinsons a much better player anyway from what I've seen

Makinson is very good, but people have the wrong idea of foster too. He gets the ball down and that's the final measure of a winger. He may not have been the fastest, but speed is not enough alone, just as kicking is not enough alone if you can't defend.

I don't think he actually played in our academy side. Saints picked him up from Hindley after we failed to take him on. One that slipped through the net in my opinion.

Yeah that's correct about Makinson. Wigan didn't make him an offer and Saints stepped in to pick him up.
