He's a left side 2nd rower and I do think it makes a big difference. He'll only get the chance to play there when Hoffman leaves.

Having said that, I thought the pace of the game was a bit much for him today. Understandably.

Nowt up with him, he just couldn't hack the pace.

Not sure who could after 2 years out though. He'll be much better come the play offs.

As much game time as possible is what's required for him IMO. It's clear that he's lacking match fitness, and in a game like today's that was always going to be evident.

Hopefully he'll get plenty of game time next week against Hull.

I think it will be next year before we can judge Hock.

All the other players are involved in pre season training and Hock comes in 6/7 months later and without the other players who are concentrating on other things, so lets wait and see, I think at present not worth a spot in the 17

With all things considered, Decent performance when you consider everything.

A fat bugger with more skill than all the Wigan forwards put together, but Coley dealt with his threat admirably.

This, he simpily wasnt ready for this kind of game. Cross/Faz would have been much better options today.

You can have all the skills in the world, but if you're so overweight that you can only do - at most - 10 minutes a half, what real use are you?

He was having a great impact against you untill he was taken care of.

What was it his 3rd game back? By the time the play off come round he will be much sharper but he needs as much game time as possible and he needs to play down our left where he has always played. I think madge is trying to add more strike power to our right thus playing hock there but he looks a bit lost there at the minute.
