29281_1270406980.jpg When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Conroy, take a bow.
By the definition of LOYAL you could hardly class the list of average attendances below as any evidence that the modern day Tics fan is loyal. It clearly shows the fickleness of their loyal fans, whereas WRLFC attedances prove that when the chips are down (2006) our fans come to the fore.
As for the 1,845 that were there in the dark days of 1995 . I know a few of these diehards and I can guarantee they detest the ex Utd, Scouse tic JCL's more than any gravy stained, Ellgren wearing, fatty from Whelley.

| I watched the Latics 2-2 draw against Arsenal on MOTD and the pitch looks in fine condition considering it at this point in previous years.

| My lad got FIFA 11 for the Xbox for Christmas - I lol'ed when I saw the state of the JJB pitch, they have modelled in a computer game, three huge bald patches, whereas Old Trafford looks like a billiards table in comparison.
Unfortunately the game publishers Electronic Arts, despite their efforts at pitch accuracy, did get one thing wrong however, as they also showed the JJB as being full at a Latics match.

No, it just has a limited capacity for football games, partly related to not being able to take your ale to your seat as the concourses get rammed (and I mean RAMMED) from about 10 minutes before half-time and the 10 minutes afterwards.

Imagine watching that Dross every week! I'm surprised the bars aren't "Rammed" for the Whole 90 mins!

| As has been said, when we were threatened with relegation; our attendances went up!
From the way they're going at the moment - they have a real chance of slipping out of the premiership this year. If they do survive (which is pretty much the best they can hope for) then next season should see them relegated.
Cue more sign changes and blue spray paint!

10172_1376829585.jpg Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013
Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

| 2006 was a bad year for us on the pitch but was also the year the Latics got their best support.
Are the two related?

| Would Wigan Athletic relegation be a good thing for Wigan RL.
Apart from a bit of mickey taking and bragging rites, I'm not really sure it is.

Neither is Ian Lenagan.
The pitch issue has raised its head almost every year, yet it must now be clear to all of us (me included, and I used to be very anti-Latics in this regard) that it's little more - most of the time - than indignant soccer pundits in the nationals trying to cause trouble. It isn't going to lead to us being shown the door.
In that respect, I don't see that Latics dropping down the leagues, and possibly being less and less able to pay their own way, will help us much.
