Agreed, thought Sinfield was very goood last night, his general field place kicking was top class and turned the saints defence round many times with the ball just staying in play. |

Just because the team you play for wins trophies doesn't mean you're the best player. It means you're playing in a good team. A great player wouldn't fade into the background when he's up against a tougher team. If he was such a good player he would have shown something, even a glimpse of something good in the world cup last year. Jesus, even Purdham played better than him against New Zealand.

Surely they won't drop Lockers altogether though? I'd play him and Ellis at second row with Sinfield at loose and Burgess coming off the bench. Obviously Sinfield won't be up to it with general play but we don't have any other good kickers.

I don't rate him as international level as he doesn't hit hard enough in the tackle whereas Lockers does but he does bring a good kicking game to the table. We need a fearsome hard hitting pack and Sinfield doesn't come into that catagory.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Sinfiled has had his chance for GB and done nothing, a good club player but not international. When will these thick Lioners realise we do rate him as a club player but can't step up to international level with one of the big things he lacks is size and a big defence.
Chesney Hawkes has done more 'big hits' than Kevin Sinfield!

If Smith picks Sinfield for the internationals we may as well give up now. Good SL player but not up to it at international level which is a proven fact.
