I'm not sure on how Canberra are treating this, on the surface it seems like Canberra dont give two you know whats. However it is suggested that Williams isnt helping himself.

Yes, along with the fact that neither him nor his missus have been able to see family members for over a year due to Covid.

We hopefully see Williams back here but even if it’s elsewhere, it hopefully benefits all clubs in the longer run because the way guys like Williams and Bateman have been treated in the media over there should be a warning to any lad thinking of going over. They’re going from a low key, un-intrusive environment here, to a country where they have a Premier league style focus on them and the media seem to have no accountability for the claims they make.

I bought the NRL season Pass so i can watch it. They have just responded to the tweet by Williams which said he has not signed the release papers. Basically they are saying that the info from there sources at the club say Williams has signed the release and putting it all on him. Williams says he hasnt. Who knows.....
