If a Lions team wins a series they do tend to get the vote. On a sporting scale though, their efforts are definitely not that special. Team Sky and Wigan have better pedigree from that persepective.

You can't just create a made up team in order to win an award. For most fans, the two clubs can't stand each other. To then join together in order to win an award would be very desperate.

You could put a joint bid in with St Helens town for it! You won 5th place in superleague, got some new cladding and St Helens town came 19th in the Tommy Browns butchers 15th division whilst breaking their transfer record of 21p.
