coach.

Yeah, or maybe some kind of ST deal which includes home playoff games... bit of a gamble for the fan but surely the club could make it a worthwhile gamble..? no?

THIS!
I got half season tickets this season for me and the Mrs having not had a S/T for three years (due to a three year commitment I had on certain Friday nights if that's ok?). From the games we went to we lost four because, ultimately, it didn't matter. I'm not sure why a financial & time commitment needs to be made by fans for matches that don't matter.
This isn't the club's fault, this is the the fault of the system but when there are matches being played with no consequences to the result you can't blame people for not turning up. When you get a big game, against good opposition, with a good following and a real consequence to the result like we had on Friday (14k more than that surely) then people will come.

| I have been a st holder since the stadium wax built and at CP before that. I am not renewing , because of all the dead rubber games against clubs that are simply not good enough for the top tier. I want to attend games where I have no clue who is going to win I.e wire,Leeds ,saints etc, not the blowout games.
I will re asses in 2015, when we know what the system is and how it works, and I also think that all clubs must spend the full cap to ensure they can at very least put out a competitive team.

Spending upto the cap means nothing, just see the London 2013 team for proof.
Hampo had it spot on in the South stand bar Friday night when asked about Sams departure.

| They've jumped ship too soon, they expected a season that was going backwards after 2012. We've done the opposite and I've no doubt some will be back next year.
Wane has silenced a lot of people this year, through actions, superb tactics. Great coach.

I can't afford it, you cock. I'm only on a temp contract at work, so i had to prioritize things. When i get a permanment job then i'll gladly get a season ticket.

After the we wish him well bit and does not blame him for going to test himself he blamed the other clubs for not being competitive enough to give us a league that is more attractive. He named games against Salford and Widnes where players know they don't have to play at full intensity to win. He blamed the clubs and not the RFL as its them who have to take lessons from how Wigan treat the U19 and other age groups and how it puts you in good stead. If more clubs invested in youth the league would be more competitive and then players would be less likely to want to go and test them self in a better league.
He is right, more competitive games will generate more interest from fans, sponsorship and give the game more power when discussing TV rights.

Thanks for that, I think it's spot on.

| Sounds like Hampo is bang on with his comments.
It's down to some of the leeches/clubs we have in this league - i'm pointing a big fat finger directly at Huddersfield Giants when i say that as well.
Absolutely NO AMBITION in that outfit to be the best side in the world. They are more than happy to play a massive role in dragging down the development of youngsters and other truly large sides down to their level. The Giants finishing at the top our league after all the regular games of the season was quite frankly an utter embarrassment to the sport.

| Also re attendance look at the away fans who come, remember when North Stand used to be nearly full, Bradford, Leeds, Wire, Stains, Hull, not anymore, money is tight and at the moment it is a 3 game season, come on RFL sort it out. Get rid of Monday night Thursday night games. The league leaders should be straight to the GF, 2nd and 3rd play off for the other spot simple.

To be fair to Huddersfield they have improved their academy systems over the past few years. They beat Leeds and Saints at U19 level this year. Maybe they too have "seen the light"
