The biggest point that most Rhinos fans are missing is the fact that [imost[/i (well alright a few) posts on here have actually said Sinfield is a good player for Leeds, but does nothing at international.

Yes he has captained a side that has won a few grand finals, and last night he rightly won the Harry Sunderland trophy. He's playing in a very good team. But once he's in an England or GB shirt he doesn't ever play anywhere near as good. Its been said above, Rickey Bibey has won 2 winners medals, does that mean he's good enough to get in the England team? hmmm

Just because the team you play for wins trophies doesn't mean you're the best player. It means you're playing in a good team. A great player wouldn't fade into the background when he's up against a tougher team. If he was such a good player he would have shown something, even a glimpse of something good in the world cup last year. Jesus, even Purdham played better than him against New Zealand.

I rate Sinfield and if we hadn't had that clown Eric Hughes as coach and Jack Robinson as chairman then Sinfield would have been a Wigan player.

I do rate Sinfield; but in my opinion, his attitude can be appaling. I remember at one point during the 28-10 win in July, right under the South stand where I was sat, the ball went dead, and Sinfield was still hold of it when he stood up. Pat beckoned to Sinfield to pass him the ball, and Sinfield gave him the dirtiest look ever and threw the ball away. To me, that's childish.

I rekon that performance in the GF may of just put him ahead of lockers, which sounds outrageous because he is so overated but I think smith will pick him.

Agreed, thought Sinfield was very goood last night, his general field place kicking was top class and turned the saints defence round many times with the ball just staying in play.

That was how I started off and then ended up calling him gash to pi55 the Loiners off.

Surely they won't drop Lockers altogether though? I'd play him and Ellis at second row with Sinfield at loose and Burgess coming off the bench. Obviously Sinfield won't be up to it with general play but we don't have any other good kickers.

I don't rate him as international level as he doesn't hit hard enough in the tackle whereas Lockers does but he does bring a good kicking game to the table. We need a fearsome hard hitting pack and Sinfield doesn't come into that catagory.
