| We need to be giving Nsemba minutes. If he is fit i can't understand why Isa is in front of him. Great pro but offers next to nothing these days. Field definitely needs a rest. Something is amiss with him. French to 1 and Rocky in at 6. Games have been thick and fast recently and need to start managing the squad a bit. Delighted Hill is back in, the lad is a monster and going to be one of the very best in the future. Chan can take his chance and i'd give Leeming 40 mins. He was a bit unlucky on Friday, he dropped one cold but the other was stripped. Would like to see what Eseh is all about too before Havard and Cooper come back in.

| Surely Leeming will play if fit.
MP only named 20 so one would deduce Douglas & Eckersley would be two to be left out. Maybe Hampshire will be the third. I'm sure we'll go with Hill and Chan in the 17.
I'm sure Leigh will be more worried about us than we are them!

| Aye, it seems harsh to say Leeming isn’t playing well enough to be considered for a start. I thought he’d been excellent up until Saints, scoring 3 try’s in less than 100 minutes of rugby and really adding to us when he’s come on. He had a tough ten minutes at Saints but these things happen.
I don’t think we will go with Leeming and O’Neill at 9 and 13 but I wouldn’t complain if we do.

They probably will be but I think we’ll see a Leigh side with plenty of desperation and motivation about them. We’re going to need to be right at it to avoid any surprises.

I would, O’Neill is a must at 9. Leeming’s defence needs to improve.

Absolutely! You might be missing a fair few props, but you assembled a squad to deal with that eventuality.
Leigh looking a shadow of last season, particularly in defence and Mulhern now looking unlikely to play, along with Amone, Ipape and Asiata. Even with the two suspensions, the pack that Wigan put out will be far to strong for Leigh. And Leigh's backline isn't exactly going to compensate for that against Field, Miski, Keighran, Wardle, and Marshall

What’s up with Mullern? I’d say he along with the other 3 guys are 4 of Leigh’s top 5/6 players so will be hard for them to get a win.
Leigh do still throw very good shapes at teams in attack so will still be a test.

Calf strain. Coach has said that it's probably less than 50% chance he plays.
I think in attack we're fine. Lam Jnr and Moylan are capable of filling the void that Asiata left as first receiver. But Amone was our top metre maker, Asiata made the most carries and of course Ipape is also missing. They're influential players and I think it's showing in our defence.

I don’t think Mulhern will play either, Leigh have a bigger game next week and therefore I don’t expect Lam to take such a risk.

| Excellent win tonight, the attack just clicked into place, much better than anything else we have served up this season so far.
Passes hitting their marks, much more fluidity, much more expansive, finding key offloads, massive cut down on errors. Lightyears ahead of anything else we have produced over the last month or so.
Nsemba with a well deserved man of the match, really put himself about and carried strong. Looking forward to watching him progress. Hill was another one who was brilliant in his time on the field, really come on this year.
Only critique of that performance was that our discipline still needs improvement.
Very positive signs though!

| Most entertaining performance of the season for me.
Finally got some fluency in attack and good to see a couple of the players who picked up a bit of criticism last week in Leeming and Isa go well.
Lots of talk about Nsemba and rightfully so he looks to be a top prospect but Harvie Hill looks even better in my opinion. I love the way he plays the game and he is turning into one hell of a big lump.
Most satisfying element tonight is the axis of Smith, French and Field seemed to be gelling again.
Really good way to back up after last week.

Agreed, I would think that him, Nsemba and Havard in particular will already be very closely monitored by the NRL teams.
It’s very early days and a huge comparison but I’m seeing in style at least a lot of similarities between how Hill plays the game and how Webke went about the game.

| Really pleasing performance. Field looked more like himself, Wardle is just great to watch, French with some usual genius touches and the forwards went well. Really pleased to see Leeming bounce back, Nsemba was excellent, Brad O’Neill is getting scarier by the week defensively and I’ll echo what’s been said about Harvie Hil, he’s almost going under the radar, especially to the wider Superleague audience but he’s got so much going for him. I’d start him again next week and challenge him to make it hard to leave him out.

| Completion rate of 93% tonight. When Wigan get anywhere near that number and keep penalties to a minimum they'll be incredibly difficult to beat.
Aside from the early penalties very strong all round. Plenty caught the eye but a word for Liam Farrell with 140m gained.

| So are the ref shaggers going to explain how Byrne got sent off and 4 games, but Moylan gets a yellow for a shoulder charge to the head? I know which one of those two shots I'd rather take.

| I didn’t have issues with the yellow card. I must be watching a different game at time from the ref as the constant pens against us for lying on and not stand square for Leigh to do the same and not get penalised was baffling. Every game so far has seemed the same

Obviously, spinal injuries no longer count. It's just the head knocks we need to focus on.
FWIW, I don't think the yellow should have been a red. It just highlights how utterly wrong that gimp last week got it.

| Much better, as every one says, and good to see the young forwards going well. Nsemba and Hill both very good, Mago showed his worth, and Thompson put in his usual big shift. Don't think there was much doubt in who came out the winner in Moylan v French! And yes, every week I think, Wardle is a class act.
