Based on yesterday I think Prescott deserves a start with Fielden dropped. He makes no impact on the game at all and is the biggest waste of money in rugby league history.

Good call, with Bailey going to 2nd row and Pryce to centre when the interchanges are made.

I'm worried about this game though I have to say. Catalans are starting to get going and you don't have a lot of faith that Wigan can back up.

Injured, broken foot I think.

i just don't rate phelps. evry time he runs the ball in, and every time the ball goes up he makes me nervous.

I agree on the nervous comment, his handling looks dodgy but he did have a good game last night.

Full back has looked like the position best suited to him, both here and the NRL.

he did play well last night. but he dropped the ball on his first carry, knocked on when saints kicked through, was nowhere to be seen for the pryce try. roberts has more experience at fb from what other posters have put on here and if gleeson can distribute well to pryce near the line it could be a dangerous combo. would be something id like to see

Roberts seems to laid back for full back, he doesn't seem to have the instinct to run like hell at a loose ball or an opposing player who's broke the line.

Does anyone know what the problem with Richards is?

you cant do more than kick em off the touchline.
roberts could settle to the job given time.

wasnt phelps back up kicker last season late on?

Hock and Carmont seemed to pick up knocks, 2 of our best players IMO so i dont think its worth risking playing them and them facing a longer layoff, and Richards is out for 4-6 weeks

I would drop Fielden, the guy is a pudding! I would love nothing better than him to regather his form but he has clearly lost all desire.

Coley has been playing better I will give him his due.

but having said that is it too laid back or a calmness. full back is a high pressure position and somone who is calm and doesn't flap is a must

Totally agree I'd give it a go. IIRC Pryce scored a couple on the wing in the friendlies did he not??

I don't particularly rate Phelps and certainly don't think he was [iclearly[/i MOM by any stretch of the imagination

He has often played second row for St George and Parramatta, why not prop?

Just dont know where it leaves us hooker wise. Cant see Riddell playing 30mins hooker then prop

Whatever the side, imo we cant play Bailey and Hansen in the same side - they are just too alike.

When the two are on the pitch together you may as well forget about the ball getting out to the centre because neither look to pass, or have the ability to pass the ball.

Noble said, in his video on the Warriors web site, that Paat may be ok for Monday. So he can't be too seriously injured. In any case I thought Phelps had a good game and arguably better on attack that Paat.

But we miss Pat's goalkicking when he's not playing.

Phelps & Sam can switch if needed, would like to see how Phelps plays as a Stand Off, Fielden should be dropped and i'd take Joel over Hansen.
