Has anybody heard what is going to happen Easter Monday. Latics due to play at 3pm so we're does that leave the Warriors.

Last rumour going around is that could well be the London "home" game. Although if it is it can't be at Millwall again as they're at home too.
Leigh are away, so my guess is we'll be forced to decamp there.
Why we're still playing second fiddle to that bunch of third tier prima-donnas (if not third rate) is beyond me.

Unbelievable if that is true. Heard also that football could play at 3pm and us at 8pm. Can't see that happening though. Another waste of my season ticket cause I ain't going to Leigh.

Why are we not playing on Good Friday?

Need to make a decision for the fans sake. Not driving down on a bank holiday traffic will be mental. Not booking a train until I know what's happening. Already £200 down this season ( before its started) Catalans and Brisbane games with the west coast train line down . Advance ticket holders have been given an alternative route to Wigan via York and Manchester and it takes over 6 hours. Tried phoning for a refund but it's like banging your head of a brick wall . Some customer service operators didn't even know the west coast line in Scotland was closed .

Some customer service operators do not even realise that the West coast line goes to Scotland, some of these people think that if the word coast comes into a conversation the button for Blackpool is pressed.

We aren't. They have had a fixture on that day since last June when the football fixtures were announced.

It is the fault of SL for scheduling a home fixture on that day. It is also the fault of WW for not telling SL that the DW was unavailable that date. Its not that difficult - after all, we seem to manage to fit in a 6-7 week window every May/June when home fixtures are never scheduled to allow pitch maintenance.

We should play on the Tuesday night at the DW and shunt the Warrington game back to Sunday afternoon.

At pre season dinner last week IL said 8pm kick off!

Also a Salford game going to a Thursday night

Well, being a pedant, I'd argue that as we've been rotating home & away over Easter since as long as I can remember, the fixture has actually been scheduled for decades.
So, in actual fact, "oh yes we are"

The WEP is reporting that its likely the Latics will kick off at lunchtime and the Warriors at 8pm on Easter Monday.

I'm sure the groundstaff will do a good job, but what concerns me more is whether the big flags covering thousands of seats will be removed in time for 8pm!

Good compromise if what the WEP is saying is true.
IL mentioned that in his Wigan tv interview.
A bit tough for the HKR fans who will be up early next day for work.

Double ticket deal?

Well that's Easter Monday a non Starter for the 6 of us north of the border. What with this and the rumoured delay to the West Coast Line repairs not a good Easter or start to the season travel wise .
