1 Phelps - Showed up everywhere In attack tonight and his tackle on Greenshields one vs one in the second half was just superb! As each game passes hes starting to prove what a classy fullback hes turning into and he definately deserves a 2/3 year contracts imo.
2 S Tomkins - I didnt see him miss a tackle tonight his defence imo is top class and tonight proved that with some good tackles on much bigger players eg Baile.
3 Goulding - Great comeback debut for him showed Noble and the fans that he wants a shout in the first team squad and tonight for me he deserves another chance against Bradford next week. His defence for me has improved so much (Salford games aswell) and he has got allot quicker aswell. Scored the winning try which he took well
Also a mention to Mossop, Coley, Prescott who handled a much much bigger pack very well tonight.

Get him signed up now as he runs well, break tackles and makes the hard hits as well as running his balls off.

totally agree mate! who would have thought that he would be our consistant forward at this point after his shocking start to the season. he deserves a bit of praise on here. hard running, good passing and having a bit of pride in the jersey. i never thought i would be posting this after the first game of the season against wakefield.

my stand out man was riddell, he was immense when he was on the pitch- attacked well and defended well, we looked lost when he was off the pitch.

After getting to the point this year of thinking that noble has had his time at wigan and wanting him out... if he gets us to the final of the CC and a good run in the play-offs... maybe I would be inclined to give him another year, if we obviously make good moves in the transfer market for a great enforcer type prop and a great attacking second row now hock is going to be banned and Sam and LuLU showing that their combination may work therefore not needing another half back..
Am I overeacting to three wins on the trot!!! I don't know... Maybe my memory ain't too good???

Yes you are. He played Pryce at 6 and in effect went with 5 props tonight. If he had any more fit players I dread to think what concoction of a selection he would have dreamt up.
But lets not turn this into a Noble in/out thread.

Sam T - never stopped trying things, great kicking game and though they run at him, Tim Smith in defence he is not.
Coley. Top class.
Goulding for getting really stuck in. Carmont was probably better over the 80 but Golding deserves a rap IMO.
Must try harder:
Richards - goal kicking
Phepls - you are supposed to catch bombs
Riddell - passes into the bread basket not around the ankles please, still I guess he was a bit tired
