Genuine question, how many times have you watched Wigan this year & thought “that was a good watch - I enjoyed that.”


I wouldn’t pay to watch this Peet team, at present. 

Very flat so far. God knows what happened to our defence as well,  been years since I’ve worried about a team on our line, think we’ve looked like conceding each time they attacked

Wakey have been great, their defence very solid and Lino has kicked us to death.

Peet's post match comments might not reflect how he really feels of course but can't agree that we weren't far off. Im still confident in us but tonight was the first night a bit of doubt crept in. Our forwards are lacking punch, our attack is blunt and there has been a lack of intensity in a lot of games this year.


That said - we've been here before and come out the other side - this team have got plenty of credit in the bank. Peet will stay grounded as he always does.

The only saving grace is that it's still June. 12 games to go before the playoffs, that is plenty of time. I think it was Matt Shaw on his podcast this week who said that we 'look bored' and I fully agree. I'm not sure what's motivating them at the moment. It's doubtful we'll catch KR now and so all focus has to be on peaking at the right time now I feel. I doubt KR will lose 3 games and we win the remaining 12. We now have to time our run.


The only thing I would raise is that it's time to address the Farrell issue; another nightmare from him. We had all the momentum 2nd half and he makes a key error, in addition to struggling all night. French was just French after a few weeks off, he'll be fine.
