A chance for Farrimond and Douglas, giving Wardle a couple of weeks off won't hurt, same with French. Wish we could give Farrell and Nsemba some time off but we don't seem to have many 2nd row options at the minute which is bizarre with the way we were producing them just a couple of seasons back.
Don't go playing Douglas and risking him to an injury.... Would've thought you'd want him playing 1st team Stu to have a good look at him.Probably won't learn too much though, had a quick look at the Salford squad and they've got no's 1&3 out of their 1-7 available Yeah in all seriousness it would be good to see more of him

| Not rests as such but a few chances for fringe players for me. If not now, then I don't see where we do it in the next few weeks/months. At the very least Farrimond simply has to play IMO.
I'd go along the lines of-
Field Douglas Keighran Eckersley Marshall French Farrimond Byrne O'Neill Dupree Farrell Nsemba Mago
Subs Havard Hill Makin Leeming

isnt Makin still on Loan? Called back, can only assume he's getting a game or he might as well have stayed at Salford, Chan is in their squad.

| Salford squad not been paid again, reports saying they will get paid tomorrow morning. Let's hope they do, the players can't be far off saying enough is enough.

| Salford players have suggested that if they are not paid Friday they may well not play against Wigan.Let's hope they are paid, for everyone's sake.

| Not bothered getting a ticket yet until we see what's happening with the Salford wages. It's a crazy situation, with talk going round that they're waiting for another pay day style loan to cover them.

| IF this is true and Salford do no play tommorow then they will have to be expelled from the top division and all results against them season will be null and void and SL will have to have a 11 team SL this year

| Love Rugby League saying that RFL have confirmed match limits are in effect this season, which is ludicrous. Junior, especially, is going to have to miss a lot of games now if this is the case, as he only has enough minutes remaining for six full games! We have 15 games left before we even consider play-offs.
Given that Willie Peters said just the other week that he didn't know if the limits were in effect this season, the RFL can hardly claim they have done a bang up job in terms of communicating this. Faz is also up there in minutes played though, frankly, I think he needs a rest anyway.
If tonight's match is going ahead I would definitely rest them both, even though we have a paucity of options in the back row. But, in all seriousness, since it's clearly obvious that coaches have been managing their teams as if match limits are not in place, then I think the RFL are going to have to backtrack on this. I try not to get involved in governing-body bashing but this has been appallingly mismanaged.

| Was just going to post the same. Going off the maths I saw, if Junior can only play 1600 minutes in a season, he'd be able to play 6 more games in total over the rest of the season!
In all honesty I get the feeling it'll all blow up, clubs will confirm the RFL haven't bothered letting them know what is actually going on and it'll be kicked down the road. In the meantime, there would seem absolutely no point in playing Nsemba tonight.
