| Wire in peace.....
Forwards look ok, but backs and halves are hit
Backs - Ashton, King plus long term injury to Wrench and Taylor-Wray Halves - Sneyd, Williams plus long term injury to Hayes Hooker - Walker (various rumours that he might play but I doubt it very much. Possibly just mind games - which I hate). Props - long term injury Thomas
Walker named in the squad, as is Lindop. Suprised Lindop is in because he had a broken/cracked jaw only a couple of weeks ago.
The half back choice will be interesting. I think it could well be Ratchford and Currie just for their experience and size. If Irwin or Leyland start they'll be targetted for sure.

| I've never seen anything in Leyland to suggest he's SL class.

| Goodness, that was a shocking performance.
Our defence at times was absolutely abysmal.
Matty Peet has a big decision on his hands in dropping Farrell, just has to be done now.

The bench props aren't really stepping up either. Thompson is great, Walters has really stepped up, but Byrne, Dupree, and Hill have not really stepped up.

| Farrell, Nsemba, Dupree, Ellis (probably his worst game in ages) were all well off it today - French had a quiet game and our link up play was very slow and lacking in timing - the one time we got it right Miski scored. We made it easy for Warrington to stay in the game with poor play throughout the game.Too much one out play at times and silly mistakes. At least we won but it was a poor game all round - not a good watch.

Yeah agreed - all three have been poor for about 18 months now. The pack is carried by Thompso, Ellis and occasionally Mago! I usually like Leeming when he comes on though. Thought O’Neill also struggled today, the week off will hopefully do him good. Doesn’t yet have the same intensity as pre-injury.

| Can't disagree. I thought Faz looked like a real passenger at times, and Dupree certainly didn't impress today.

| Oddly clunky in attack and some poor spells when defending - a lot to work on over the week off.
As for RL in this country - the comparison with Aussie Magic was stark - the refs need to move away from evening up games and be thinking about the spectacle.

| A win is a win, but I won't pretend I'm not a teensy bit concerned about these moments of really quite weak defence that occasionally creep in, when nobody seems inclined to make a tackle because they presumably assume that someone else will do it for them.

| Strange game. We should have been clear of Wire in the first half but some disjointed finishing and usual poor refereeing standards made the game a painful watch at times.
Allowing the game to stop while Powell put his boot on was strange - since when has that been a thing? Especially with the 'supposed' efforts to speed the game up.
The video takes an age to replay things when the first view is obvious - take the knock on where Lindop rolled it forward then pushes it back. The VR saw it then replayed it 3-4 more times. Yet somehow the try ruled out for Junior tackling the plyer off the ball - the first shot showed he clearly didn't tackle him, then the VR see's a still frame with his had on a shoulder and he rules it out straight away. Completely incompetent.
I think Peet is getting to the end of his patience with the ref's - something has to give very soon....
