Try downloading DuckDuckGo browser. I could rarely get the site to load properly but it works perfectly using that one. 

I use an adblocker but i just find the entire site frustratingly slow to use and missing functionality that it used to have

Dont get me wrong, I appreciate all the effort and cost that goes into keeping this site alive but it really does feel like its on its last legs

there is a new version on its way, it will get better, we are doing it stages at a time after 25 years the old code was too difficult to maintain and a site so large most off the shelf packages are not good enough.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to access "posts since my last visit" on a thread. The link to the right seems to go to the very last post, and I then have to manually scroll up to find what I've missed. This seems basic forum 101 stuff 

I had the same problem until I discovered if you click on the circle on the left with the lines on it takes you to the last unread post.

It is more obvious in the next update, but the icon next to the thread name in the forum takes you to the right place.

Thanks mate, I have tended to avoid the site of late. My screen keeps going blank, I cannot post half the time as well.

Thanks for your work. Discussion forums have become less popular over the years but it'd be a shame if this went away as it's been great to connect with other supporters. Main issue for me is it isn't clear atm when there has been new posts on a thread.

Sounds like the same issue I had Zig. Try DuckDuckGo. I'm sure it'll work fine on that.
