it was a 4 year deal, but turned out it was 2+2, so he could have been out of contract at the end of this season was my understanding of that
so he's now contracted until end of the 2027 season, with an option for 2 more years. i havent read the official announcement so unsure if that is in the clubs or Jai's favour
