I'd probably agree most of the time but, in this instance, he'd be coming back into those big games having not played for a month. If he's fit, I'd play him. Any doubt whatsoever and leave him out. 

Game's on, Salford have named a squad but only 17 players. It's got the feel of Wire away last season. no win situation, hopefully we come through it with two points, no injuries and no issues with the disciplinary

Regardless of 'the situation', why on earth would we let our own players play against us?


It looks like they've only named a 16-man squad so without Chan they would be even more screwed. Are we just trying to be 'nice'?

Vaughn is the mystery 17th man, season long loan from Saints, looks like we'll get a look at our new signing tomorrow, the more mischievous part of me hopes he has a blinder, that should make for some interesting reading on RV 

It’s good to see the lad getting some game time, the stick that Vaughan has received on RV is unbelievable. I sometime wonder what some of those guys have got between their ears.

Latest doing the rounds is two of the senior players in the named 17 are refusing to play, so far un-named.
I really hope we can stay focussed and come through this unscathed

Farrimond named in the reserves, assume Field is playing then, seems risky but if he's been given the all clear then fair enough

Field starts, Dupree starts, Byrne 18th man, O'Neil Hill on bench everything else as you'd expect

Bewildering that we've not given at least a couple of youngsters a debut in this game. They must be wondering when they will actually get a chance?
