Half a squad out so no real cause for concern off the back of it. Having said that its far from ideal and there are a lot of question marks over St Helens at the moment.

The problem is that the seven in question could be underdone when SL kicks off. The other worry is that some of those players are carrying knocks and they have yet to play a game. There's a huge contrast between Paul Wellens and Matt Peet when they are interviewed. Peet has always come across as relaxed, secure and comfortable in himself and not hugely affected by the highs or the lows.

Wellens seems the exact opposite. He looks nervous, on edge, insecure and very affected by the highs and the lows.
