I'm leaning towards a new coach.
A lot of the players mentioned here will probably be good enough under a new coach for the next season or two. This will give us time to bring in new talent gradually and transform the team without the process being too disruptive.
We have NO attack and are dull, dull, dull; clueless, dull, predictable, dull, dull - oh and boring. I will take Cas as an entertaining team, but Wakefield???
We need a world class SH and a reliable kicker. I remember the transition from Joe Lydon (who could take a penalty in front of the sticks and hit the corner flag) to Frano Botica; Frano was just reliable, you could bet your house that four points would be six.
Not vast changes initially - just new ideas and a style that reflects what RL is all about.

We are never going to get Cronk. He is leaving Melbourne because his Fiancée lives in Sydney. She works for Fox Sports, and he has already started being a pundit on the Rugby league Channel. If he does play, and he doesn’t really want to play against his mates, it will be in Sydney.

In all probability he’ll retire, although it was rumoured for a short time the Bulldogs and Saints were interested. Saints have since signed Ben Hunt, the Bulldog have salary cap issues and are looking to offload some players. We could make some enquiries about some of their players. Aiden Tolman might be worth a sneaky offer.

An observation from an outsider. You just don't have enough natural size in the pack. Too many of your forwards just simply aren't big enough, or are carrying too much weight for their frame (a contributing factor in the amount of injuries you get?). I'm not saying Hull are the benchmark, but since that's who I support I will use us as an example. People talk about us having a massive pack, but Watts, Taylor, Green and Bowden (and you can probably include Motongo aswell although he's on the fringes) are just naturally big guys. None of them look like they spend too much time in the gym bulking up. They are big strong guys but also very mobile and capable of big minutes. I don't see anyone in the Wigan front row who fits that bill.

Don't disagree with any of that. We desperately, desperately need an organising Scrum Half.

This exact problem was identified by the club at the start of the 2014 when we went over to Australia to play the Roosters in the WCC. Radlinski specifically mentioned how much bigger they were and it was something the club needed to address. Here we are essentially four seasons later and nothing has been done about it.

I would give away all of our props and just play with Watts or Walmsley if I could. They both do more work on their own than our entire set or props combined.
