Out of curioisty what would people think of the possibility of our owner Ian Lenanan buying the Bradford Bulls and using them as our reserve team and/or an academy outpost?
Didnt he sell Oxford FC last year or something? If he did he must have a few million sitting in his bank.
We could use them then to test out our players who arent getting game time on dual regiustration and given they get crowds of 5000 this will be far more economical than us running a reserve league team which only plays 6 games a year. The players would get game time in a competitive environment like the championship and if (heaven forbid) we had another injury crisis we could call up players who we have contracted to Bradford to play for us as stop gaps.
I suppose it could be a bit like Man City and New York City in football terms.
Also didnt Lenangan say a couple of years ago that we were setting up an academy outpost in London to nuture and identify talent? If we could do this in Bradford as well it would be a great coup. Something like half the England team in the 13 during 4 Nations came through the Bradford academy so if we could poach these future players it would supplement our already brilliant academy and give us a hub in Yorkshire to compete with Leeds for youth talent.
If Lenagan did manage to pull this off it could be one of the biggest things to happen to our club for years and the future would look very bright indeed.
Despite what some of you are saying I still believe this is very possible and although its not likely to happen I think if it did it would be a great idea.

I've heard Lenagan is interested in buying Stains - Despite what some of you may say I believe this is very possible and although its not likely to happen I think if it did it would be a great idea.
