When basically Wigan have punished him appropriately in the same way your club did with those players?
So did you say "Until the next time he messes up" about them?

As I expected, a brief, bland statement by the club about an "incident" and what they have done with Bateman. No mention of what (if any) sanction was taken against the other person involved.

A telling line from the statement was “John Bateman has expressed his full regret at the incident, [size=150as have other parties[/size"

Questions still remain unanswered, such as

What incident?
Who else was involved?
What disciplinary action was taken against the other party?

I don't think any of that actually matters. And i don't think we have a right to know as such either. Guy screwed up, he's been punished, there's a game on thursday, lets move on.

How about be thankful that the matter is now closed? I'm happy, we have not lost a great player whilst recognising he needs to be suitably punished.

Again, another example of Wigan being a firm but fair club that offers support to its players. That will do for me. (can you imagine Koucash handling it like this)?
