I did it last year, and if I can anyone can. I'd done about 200 miles in 10 years and don't do any other type of training. Was a great day and can't wait to do it this year.

If someone has a tandem I will put my name forward to be the back seat driver, I will be 74 then and my eyes may not be up to doing the driving.
If it was to happen I would put £100 quid up for the sponsorship, I am not joking here , in fact if I could get my mother who will be 103 by then to do the driving I will double it.

This may sound a bit to frivolous but the same type of situation has happened in our family, my mothers first great, great grandson ( she already has 5 lovely great, great grand daughters ) has been born with a very rare brain condition and the parents still do not know what the outcome will be.
That is why charities like these for the very rare cases have to be supported at all costs.

Mick Cassidy and Denis Betts are now confirmed on our team. They have a team of 5 from Widnes coaching staff and are trying to get Widnes fans to join them. Great support for the charity from Mick and Denis.

I did it last year and am signed up again this year. A really good ride and genuinely not too tasking, well at least the 100km wasn't. I'm going for the 100 miles this time.

I did the 100 mile last year and its pan flat mate youll be fine especially when you get to styal around 90 mile mark !!!!

I have now had confirmation that Brian Carney will be taking part in the ride again. Last year he did it on a borrowed bike which was 30 years old and turned up with a kipper in his pocket for nutrition!
