I was all up for resting all the senior players and playing a squad something similar to what the OP has put, until that debarcle last night. But now the first choice, full strength 17 really needs 80 minutes before Wembley. We've got to get the combinations working again and the fluid attack from 3 months ago back.
It's not the longest trip in the world and still gives 5 days of preparation before the final. I'd be very tempted to go with 4 forwards off the bench as bringing L Tomkins on for McIlorum offers nothing except a drop in intesity and I don't like changing the halfbacks mid-way through the game (though if Green plays like that again I'd happily see him brought off for Hampshire).
S Tomkins
Charnley
Goulding
Thornley/Gelling
Richards
Green
Smith
Taylor
McIlorum
Mossop
Hansen
Farrell
O'Loughlin

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg
