Terrible decision – would make it difficult for fans that have a long distance to travel to matches. If the trend continues then our season tickets would not be renewed as it would not be economical, will simple select specific matches to attend. Depends if the Monday / Thursday are limited to say only one game per club per season, then it may be ok. Maybe the clubs / RFL should make some sort of commitment to fans then you can judge if the season tickets are worthwhile.

It may not be as bad for locals but may limit families (school nights etc) if it continues next season.

I think it's the Saturday early evening spot that has been replaced by Thursday due to Premier League 5.30 kick offs

I'll be very surprised if Latics are still in Europe come February.

EDIT: Looking at the dates, the only possible clash would be their Matchday 1 game which is scheduled for 19th Sept. That would require a) for them to be drawn at home that day and b) for us to lose in week 1 of the playoffs.

Thats a very 'Knee Jerk' reaction Eric... its no Wigan's fault remember, Wigan jump through the hoop as high as the RFL hold it and the RFL do the same with Sky
