Explain to me how an innocent person coming out to defend himself from awful lies would have serious implications for his career..im trying very hard to get my head around that one.

What is your problem here? You're asking a fellow poster to justify someone's actions with regard to the legal system! If you don't believe it then don't, I'm clearly not d.

If you are not d what people think, your words, why do you keep telling people that they should believe you... i'm tempted to say "Put up or shut up", but i'll be accused of being aggressive again, or childish.

My problem is that Hock as been treated so bad by the club yet its his career on the line if he came out with the truth..dont you see a problem in that one ??

If you was treated as bad as your saying hock as been in your line of work..would you just let it go ?

I've never once said people should believe me, they can believe whatever they want. I posted on here about the situation, that's all. People are totally free to believe what they want.

The best way I can put it is that I'm not saying Hock is "an innocent party" as such. My honest opinion is that I have sympathy with Gareth Hock about the circumstances in which he has left.

Lenegans Statement does pretty much speak for itself. MOST of it is true but its what has drove Hock to end his wigan career like he has. He is clearly as somebody stated taking the 5th because that is what he believes is for the best and in that respect I agree. I'm not trying to come across as taking the moral high ground or tease with information etc but with what I believe to be the truth about all this there are massive implications for various people if the truth where to come out and given their actions with the squad this week the club are also taking actions to stop the truth getting out.

If you don't believe it then why go on about it? "(Don't know how many times I have to say this)

and most people are believing the only reported facts and they have only been put forward by the club. No rebuttles by the player

When I mentioned Career the point I was making was his Wigan Career. I Know Hock loves Wigan and I believe he would love to play for wigan in an ideal world but if the truth came out I don't believe he could.
