Quote Last Son of Wigan="Last Son of Wigan"It was seem Hock is going to go down as the 'bad guy' in this, which is a shame, when he isn't at fault. Yes he has had issues in the past, which he paid his due with his ban. The two issues are separate.
Argue the point, ok, fine, but knowing the situation I would sooner see the back of Wane.'"
And he will rightly go down as the bad guy.
Statements have been made to the effect that he was demanding extra pay, staying away from training, trying to hold the club to ransom, etc.
There is clearly no way for him back to Wigan now, so he and his spokesmen could do a lot worse than contest these 'untruths'.
But if what you say actually is true, and it's all about Hock falling out with Wane - how are we fans supposed to feel mollified? Hock has let a personal issue become a crisis in the club, right on the eve of the new season. He has brought our name into bad repute yet again (having done that several times in his career already). He has annoyed the club so much that they have kicked him out, and we are now one man down at a stage where it's presumably too late to replace him.
The guy is going to need a lot more defence than "it's not my place to say".
