It's usually because people moan that its a union tactic but I'd rather put them on the back foot and chase it down and hold them at their own end than risk giving them a set right near our own line. Richards could easily kick from our ten to theirs so I don't get why it isn't done either.
We were outplayed by Leeds tactics and we had no comeback as long as they were kicking to charnley (who would usually be Tomkins first receiver of course) he was played pretty much out of the game and that hurt us in the metres as that's usually good for at least ten metres so we were going from 1st on the 25-40 to 1st on or around our own 10.
