for next week Macca in at 9, Charnley back on the wing and hopefully either prescott/lima back for the 4th bench spot.
For tomorrow I'd like to see thornley given a run out at centre, if he is going to be considered for the centre position next year he is going to need a shot there. Plus I would be more comfortable with Goulding on the wing.

| Smith should be on the bench tomorrow as we need to work on the halfback pairing that'll play in the semi final. Given we've only got one game left before we play Leeds it has to be Locky and Finch now. The more they play together the more chance we have of it working for next Saturday.

As much as I think the main importance in the long term is to keep Sam at fullback, we should probably move away from that in preparation for the Leeds game. I think this because it's important to keep Lockers at 13 if we can as it is his best position, and if it means moving Sam for two games max then it is something Wigan should try. Murphy looked solid enough at fullback to to trust so we should be reet, especially with Charnley to come back in to the three quarter line in the cup and Micky Mac to come back as well which will allow movement in the pivots without disrupting as much.

| i dont see why people are moving goulding the form to the wing when hes coming back from injury. that way were making an inexperienced and winger, despite gouldings 2010 season, he hasnt played an extended run on the wing in 18 months. put goulding in at and see if thornleys got the ability on the wing like gelling.
