13 out of 18 yesterday isnt a bad return for our second choice goal kicker if you ask me. loved the ironic boo's as well - hope Josh took them in jest as we all (hopefully!!?) did!

i certainly don't blame him for us not making 100, it means nothing to me. a win is a win.

Yeh he seemed to rush 2 easier ones which would have had him at 15/18 which is the 80+% you would expect from your no1 goalkicker. Think it's just technique problems and occasionally rushing it.

The key thing for me is that he is learning every time he takes the kicking duties on board.

Pat is not going to be around forever and to have a quality experienced kicker who can slip straight in to fill his boots within the squad ensures that we do not need to prioritise a kicker as our main transfer target when he does go.

He just needs to keep practising and eventually he'll develop a technique that works for him and he should become more consistent.

I do think that the club should have at least 5 players in the first team squad that practice goalkicking on a regular basis. I don't know whether that's the case or not, but having a good goalkicker is always important in tight games.
