Sunday afternoon's tend to bring in a higher 'walk up' number than Friday nights, and is obviously more family friendly. Allegedly increases the away following from the Yorkshire folk, but I have my doubts. However, in terms of occasion and atmosphere, the 'big games' should always be Fri/Sat nights for me.

I hate Sunday games - Friday night all the way.

The main reason we moved to Fridays in the 1st place was to suit the suits (no pun intended) they like having a meal and drink and not having to go to work the day after,the atmosphere is always controlled by the size of crowd and the way support no matter if its played 8pm Friday or 3pm Sunday.

it just seems that the atmosphere appears better under floodlights, make the ground seem as those it is closed in and you are closer to the action......
