But Tommy, Bell and Richards have only stayed a relatively short time. Westy has done 29 years and Billy B nearly 60 years, and are well respected not only in Wigan.
I suppose Jim Sullivan would have been another one.

A lot of people use the word "Gent" when talking about Westy, well I was his next door neighbour for a number of years, and can tell you he was exactly that, an absolute giant of a human being, both inside and out, even at my then grand old age of about 40, I have sat in awe of the guy over a beer in summer in the garden as he looked back, and put a name to every scar he has on him, some funny stories, stories and times I'll never forget, I can honestly say it was an honour and privelage to meet and know the guy and his family, and I wish him all the luck in world as they returns to NZ.
