Would be pretty difficult to get a 27-year-old to agree to a deal balanced so much in the club's favour. It is not like a Tim Smith situation where there is an overriding issue of bad professionalism. He seems to have underperformed at Hull, but as has been said there are any number of reasons why this might have been, substandard fitness and technical coaching being one of them.
It's a bit different being a Wigan fan I guess. Even before the great era of the late 80s and early 90s Wigan had won more trophies than any British RL club.
