| new centre to let joel play his normal position, sam to replace deacon and richards to fullback, a new winger or give darrel/roberts a second chance + an aussie prop would be nice to replace coley and help our forwards to develop fully. They are good and mossop was missed alot but i think Lima is too much Mr nice guy and not enough aggression for me...people QQ over his tackles but personally think they are soft.. his work rate is not questionable, he just needs to be more aggressive in the tackle.

| The quality this season been poor. No issue wit final but does anybody in their right mind think that a team that finishes 5th or below is the CHAMPIONS.
I am a Wigan fan but Warrington were top of the league so overall were the CHAMPIONS.
However doesn't this help Sky with their what a wonderful league we have??????
We (the standard of RL generally) has had a really poor season with lots of bad matches and next week will crown a team who couldn't hack the proper season but can win 3 matches ( in the case of Saints) to be Champions. If they win and I actually tipped them and the final two yonks ago great but as a person/player is this right??????
This is all done for money but next week in my view is something that makes our game look what it is to others (a gimmic).

| On reflection - we've not been good enough for most of the season. We've ground out a lot of ugly wins, in with a few amazing performances and a couple of duff games.
I think credit has to go to other teams in part - they figured out that to repeatedly attack the same players in ruck defence stifles our defensive style, to attack Deacon and Joel's side all game will come off eventually, and how to spread and slide their defensive line to counter our previously unbeatable wide sweeping moves with the dummy runners that got us so many tries last year. I also think the new RFL regulations at the start of the season meant we couldn't use the dominating tactics that were so successful last year,
We've missed Fielden and Mossop, and Gleeson massively. When Madge's system is being stifled we seem devoid of ideas, and Tommy and Sam aside we seem to have lost some of our raw RL instinct that other teams still have. Joel has done well but isn't a natural centre (I'd like to see Charnley move in there). Farrell and Tuson are very good but we've enough workhorse forwards already. Hoffman, Pat, Tommy, Lockers, George, Sam and Josh have been my players of the year.
Not actually that disappointed tonight. My wallet certainly isn't. A good season and a CC win is a bonus.
Thank you Madge.

| Quote TheElectricGlidingWarrior="TheElectricGlidingWarrior" Didn't he put 2 into touch on the full? '"
No. He put one into touch. The other was Lomax. They are two young guys in their first full season at first grade. Gaskell is a year younger than Lomax and a year behind in his first grade experience. There were some nerves in our young players in that match, especially in the first half. Given that he had only played one full match at first grade prior to this year, I think he has done incredibly well.
PS: Roby has put kicks into touch on more than one occasion this season. Is he atrocious too?

| Quote centralparkforever="centralparkforever"Good to see somebody agree with me about Faz, again 2 mistakes in the second half, a dropped ball and lying on in the tackle, have been saying for weeks the guy is not good enough, Tuson the same. We need a class centre, we have missed Gleeson all season to be honest. I know Joel has tried his damness all season but the lad is a running second row and hope he gets back there next season.'"
Well it's been a fun two years of being in 'form'.

| Quote Rogues Gallery="Rogues Gallery"The better side won on the night. Saints scrambling defence was very good particularly in the second half, one tackle by Scott Moore and another on Sam Tomkins when we looked certain scorers. We had eighteen tackles on their line so you have to credit the defence. I do think we missed another big forward Mossop/ Fielden/ Hock/ Cross as we seemed to lose our early domination when Coley and Lima went off. The bench was lightweight with Farrell, Tuson and O'Carroll.'"
For me to! Mossop gives us massive go forward. Eamon has missed so much rugby is a big ask to get him step in and take on Graham et al.
Joel isnt a centre. But our season long problem appeared last night not taking clear cut chances! Joel takes the ball we go 12-0 and prob win but instead we gave saints a sniff and they took it.

Joe Mellor will fill that void. If Shaun Wane gets the job next season he will play these youngsters. Logan Tomkins is another who will get game time next season. Daz Goulding needs to step up and make that No.3 shirt his own. This time last year the guy was selected for the 4 nations squad.

| People keep complaining about 'season long problems' and 'what we've been doing wrong all season' but Saints and Leeds have been worse all season and they are in the GF. The more i think about it the more ridiculous 3rd v 5th seems to decide our Champions!! The playoffs are just another cup competition blown up by Sky. Warrington have been outstanding all season to do what they have done. How can they not be champions?
