| Im happy with the season. Big thanks to Mr McGuire, Mr Hoffman and Mr Coley. Now for a change. Farrell, Tuson, Joel T. just not Wigan class IMO. New reign next year. Lets all look forward to it.

| Joel is not a centre to be fair to him and we need a new centre for next season.

Sure he can live with the competition, as this year's shown, anyone can beat the 'top' teams on the day.

No. He's a great assistant. If there was something about him he would have been in the game years as a first team coach by now.

| First half was fine.
Second half.
Far to many errors and penalties.
Far to conservative with the ball. There's a time to keep it in the forwards and there's time not too. Tonight it was kept to much in the forwards, particularly when attacking the Saints line in the second half.
Sam has looked injured for the past few weeks. And again tonight didn't look right when running the ball in.
All credit to Saints they hung in there with some terrific defense.
Having said all that. Two ankle taps from Soliola on Hansen and Shenton on Sam was probably the difference. But Saints most certainly deserved the win for their second half performance.

| Oh, and I thought we lacked pace in the middle of the park. Sam running out wide is fine. But Tommy, Finch and Lockers in the halves aren't the most threatening when running it. Hopefully next year with Mellor at 6 he'll provide the pace and evasiveness that we lacked there tonight.

What have you got to thank Danny McGuire for?
Amazing after two years, two trophies and a hub cap people still can't spell the name of our coach! At least we should be able to cope when Wayne gets the job, he's been around for years.

| We had the winning of the game in the first half but we bombed two very good chances that could of put us 18-0 up. You just knew after that Saints had weathered the storm and would eventually get their chance at attacking our line. Our second half display was very poor and reminded me of the Challenge Cup final but this time we didnt have enough points on the board to hold on.

| Disappointed that Wigan won't be going to Old Trafford next week but I've been to Wembley to watch them lift the Challenge cup and that for me makes the season a successful one.
The lads deserve a good rest now and I'm already looking forward to next season (and hopefully a nice shirt for a change !)
Lets hope Shaun Wane will soon be announced as the new coach & any other signings that may have been made.

| First 10 mns we did well then never looked like winning. Saints were trash which says a lot about how we played.

| Probably a couple of big forwards short of what we needed out there. Having Mossop, Fielden and Cross get injured towards the end of the year along with Hock's suspension was unfortunate.
Sam wasn't fit, that was clear. Our attack wasn't fluid enough and our levels of form and confidence simply haven't been there since Wembley.
But Saints played very well and fair play to them. I don't understand why they keep calling for Lomax to be pushed to the England side when Gaskell makes the more productive contribution of the two. His kicking was outstanding at times.

| The better side won on the night. Saints scrambling defence was very good particularly in the second half, one tackle by Scott Moore and another on Sam Tomkins when we looked certain scorers. We had eighteen tackles on their line so you have to credit the defence. I do think we missed another big forward Mossop/ Fielden/ Hock/ Cross as we seemed to lose our early domination when Coley and Lima went off. The bench was lightweight with Farrell, Tuson and O'Carroll.
