We should look at it as a good thing. If they stopped trolling and having a go, it would be because we aren't a threat.

We need to worry if they stop doing it.

You have to remember its not all one way we have some real Wigan gobes that offer nothing constructive constantly over on the wire board.

Your main problem is that there as LOADS of pie trolls on other forums constantly winding up other fans and hijacking threads....you reap what you sow im afraid.

Well I banned someone the other week for derailing threads and for me to ban anyone is a very rare event and banning really is a last resort. Now my ruddy PM in box is getting filled by the poster constantly complaining about the ban!

So why aren't they banned? If Wigan fans causing problems elsewhere is a problem that is leading to problems on this board, the answer is for the Wigan fans to be banned from the other boards in the first instance. Not for an equally set of brain dead morons to respond in kind on here.

Since according to you the Wigan fans are the root cause of the problem then if they were banned from the other boards the problem would disappear on all boards wouldn't it? There wouldn't be any problem on here at all then would there? Really?

There were never any Wigan/Leeds/Wire/Bulls fans sniping at Saints when we were dominating, no-siree-bob. Wigan are the only club that ever gets stick.

Rather than moaning about other fans, perhaps moan at Hock for giving them ample opportunity to snipe? Do you GENUINELY think that if that had been James Graham/Adrian Morley/Danny McGuire etc eye-gouging (on the back of a 2 year drugs ban amongst other blots to the copy book), the boards would have been silent because he doesn't play for Wigan?

The Wigan persecution complex is pretty funny really.

The odd bit of banter for me isn't a problem but certain posters just don't understand banter and some posters offer nothing constructive and try oneupmanship in every bloody post and it's tedious.

One eyed posters irritate me but at least they usually talk rugby even if it is through their teams glasses.

My advice would be just to ignore them. It can be difficult, but just don't rise to it. I'm all for banter after a game and expect some serious trolling right after we've lost, but it is becoming commonplace on every thread.

For me I've started to use the 'friend/foe' list. Click on a posters profile and add them to your 'foe' list. You don't see their posts, but a little bar pops up between posts where they have made a post and it gives you the option of whether you want to read it or not.
