I was walking down Wembley Way on Saturday towards the Torch Pub about three hours to kick off and IL and his wife were walking back towards the stadium, with coolbox in hand. You could see he was savouring every moment walking through the Wigan fans, I shouted "Are we going to do it Ian", which he replied "Without a doubt" with a raised fist. The guy was on cloud nine you could tell...!

You can tell he much prefers to be with the fans when he could have been 'hob-nobbing' prematch with the sponsors, dignataries and other hangers-on.

He's worked wonders with the team and backroom all we need now is a decent WEB SITE, slowest in RL. This is by no means a criticism, just a fact

Yes and I thought it was a very good speech in particular the bit about looking forward. We no longer have that "you have not won it for X years" monkey on our shoulders and I think it will make a difference.
