There were a huge number of calls for forward today though - admittedly a lot were missed (for both sides), but I don't recall the Odsal crowd being so animated in that manner.

FWIW, I thought Bradford came out much more fired up than we did - perhaps we thought it would be a stroll - your fast defence dominated long periods of play in the 1st half and without the Raynor sending off the 2nd could have been very different.

Sadly the ruling these days is 'downwards pressure'. Nothing about control.

He lost the ball with his right hand, but managed to apply 'downwards pressure' before knocking on. It's not a try in my book, but sadly it is according to the rules.
