| What was funny was that The Sun newspaper did a comparison between Madrid and Wigan.At the bottom of the article it compared the city/town sporting giants.Real Madrid and Wigan Warriors!!!!

manager lives in cheshire.....players live in some suburb, and all commute in to play and train.
they have no friggin idea what wigans like , because theyve never set foot in in apart from the stadium area.
go to wigan on a average day and its a good chance you will see a rugby player..............has anyone ever seen a footy player?
anyway....most will be leaving shortly.........booed by their own fans tonight...not good is it??

Judging by the "official" crowd figure, they must have been booed by about 5,000 fans that didnt even show up. I'm watching it now on Sky Sports and all I can see is row upon row of empty red & blue seats, occasionally with a figure or two disrupting the pattern.

The attendance will be calculated based on how many tickets are issued though, not how many people actually turn up. |
