Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

I can understand what he saying coming from Madrid to be honest but he just isn't helping himself. I never see the latics players all having a drink together in starbucks or with their families in the traffords centre (although I wouldn't recognise half of them)... our players make the effort to spend time with each other and are clearly a close group. I always say it doesn't really matter where you go, its about who you go with. He would have much better time being 'out with the lads'.
All abit pathetic he has to say it in a French mag though, did he think the tics fans wouldn't find out?

To be honest, Wigan can be a pretty bleak place in the winter. But I think the interview comes over as being a bit whingey.
As others have said, pointing out that Wigan is not Madrid is unlikely to be news to anyone.
