Definitely. Biggest league in the world and next season it will have the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Blackpool, Wigan and West Bromwich in the league, towns that generally would never register on the national radar if it wasn't for their football teams. Everyone loves a good underdog story.

Not sure if it thrives on them though. Wasn't too long ago that the 'top' clubs wanted to reduce the number of clubs and allow fewer fairytale stories in football's top flight.

And the reason it never happened is because the Premier League realised that people do like to see the little guys have their moment in the sun every once in a while, and at the end of the day people power rules in this sort of business - sadly the RFL seem intent on creating more and more games that are devoid of any atmosphere because away support is non-existent.
